"...it's peculiar how our minds protest us. My fondest memories are not of the hard times but of the fun we had making the best of the hard times; like carrying a galvanized tub of water up the hill for our bathes and having only half a tub left by the time we reached the shack. We laughed and slipped and tripped and splashed all the way up the hill. In the early fall when it was still a bit warm, the stream where we got our water was shrouded in a thick, bluish-gray fog. We must have looked like leprechauns emerging from the Brigadoon-like haze with our bucket of gold."

Congressman Gordan Sets Fundraising Goal
Gordan receives widespread support
ORLANDO, FL - With widespread support from across Florida, Congressman Gordan's campaign announced, today, it has set a fundraising goal of $250,000 only. Congressman Gordan will be providing the remainder of funds needed from his own pocket.
Samuel Gordan is a fifth generation Floridian born and raised in Mulberry and has represented the Fifteenth Congressional District in the United States House of Representative since January 1999.
